Community work with GROFUN

GRO-FUN’s Many Hands project enlisted groups of neighbours with gardens to help and support eachother to make edible growing spaces where previously was lawn or concrete.  The project ran for three Summers between 2007-2009.

Sally was a large part of the facilitation of this service for the first 2 years, helping to promote and deliver Many Hands with creative flair and committment. Her own experience in gardening helped us to design and build suitable spaces for some 20 odd participants.  I would say that Sally is a go-getter. Her vision and dedication make her an excellent community activist and someone I am proud to have worked alongside.
